-- On July 28, the offline final round of the 2026 China-ASEAN Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Creative Merchandise Design Competition successfully concluded in Guiyang. As a featured event of the 2026 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW), the competition was co-hosted by SEAMEO and the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee of the CAECW. It was co-organized by Guizhou Polytechnic of Construction, Bijie Industry Polytechnic College, Guizhou Aerospace Vocational and Technical College, and Qiandongnan Polytechnic College, with Go Study Global Education as the implemented organizer. Focusing on cultural and creative design and regional cultural exchange, the competition utilized design as a vital link to build a platform for creative exchange and cross-cultural cooperation among the youth of China and ASEAN countries.

The final round of the competition was themed “Empowering Cooperation: Connecting Cultures through Education and Skills,” focusing on the significant milestone of the 20th anniversary of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week. Through the design of the official visual identity, the competition explored how design language could present the concepts of regional educational cooperation and the cultural significance of exchange.

At the final round, outstanding teams from China and ASEAN countries presented and defended their projects, focusing on their design concepts, cultural expressions, and application value. The teams showcased the innovative thinking and diverse perspectives of the younger generation toward China-ASEAN educational cooperation.

China-ASEAN Youth Collaboration Design Showcase

As an important practice in promoting China-ASEAN educational exchange and people-to-people connectivity, the competition further connected educational institutions, education organizations, and industry resources, facilitating the extension of outstanding creative outcomes into educational applications, cultural communication, and international exchange scenarios.
