The Golden Bay Distillery has announced the upcoming launch of a new charity partner program taking place throughout the month of May.

-- The program will support the DC-based National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, an organization that honors fallen officers nationwide. To support this fund, the distillery will be donating 100% of the profits from sales of their Championz Gin Hero Edition to the organization, equating to around $20 for each bottle sold.

To encourage participation in this program, the Golden Bay Distillery is reaching out to bar owners, restaurateurs, and any other interested mixologists to establish the “Paint The Bar Blue” event.
As they explain on their website, they are encouraging mixologists to offer blue-themed cocktails featuring Championz Gin to be served throughout the month of May in order to raise awareness for this cause. Golden Bay is offering to provide branded glassware, recipes, and promotional materials to all who join the program.
Equally important to the success of the program, Golden Bay is encouraging participants to host community events throughout May to raise additional funds for the NLEOMF. They recommend festivities designed to bring the community together with law enforcement, such as karaoke nights, game nights, or raffles.
Those who hold these events will be promoted directly by Golden Bay through their official social media channels, and will also be included in the press coverage around this event.
The Championz Gin Hero Edition itself has been redesigned to honor the 345 law enforcement officers whose names will be added to the DC memorial this year. The bottle includes a blank area to write the name of a fallen officer, the seal of the NLEOMF, and a blue light to illuminate the bottle and draw attention to the cause.
This program is open to bars, restaurants, hotels, and liquor stores nationwide, and as the organizers explain, they are seeking widespread commitment to this cause. They are highlighting this event as a unique opportunity for establishments everywhere to affirm their support for the law enforcement officers who protect and serve their communities.
Those interested in joining the program should visit the link below to get in touch with the Golden Bay Distillery team. The cocktail menu and promotional materials are also available for download there; the supply of Championz Gin is limited, and participants are encouraged to order promptly to ensure the bottles do not sell out.
